Reimagining Government Tendering for Indian MSMEs with AI
Interviewer: Mr Vivek, before we get into the details, could you briefly explain what Minaions is and what problem it aims to solve for Indian businesses?
Vivek Mittal: Minaions is an AI driven platform built to simplify government tendering for Indian businesses, especially MSMEs. If you visit https://minaions.com you will see that our core focus is to automate the most difficult and time consuming parts of the tender lifecycle. These include discovering the right tenders, understanding complex RFP documents, checking eligibility, preparing bid documents, and highlighting risks. Our goal is very simple. We want small and mid sized businesses to participate in government procurement without fear, confusion, or dependency on intermediaries.
Interviewer: There are some platforms that already exist in the tender discovery space. What made you feel there was still a big gap in the market?
Vivek Mittal: That is a very important question. India has one of the largest public procurement markets in the world, contributing nearly 22 percent of India’s GDP. Over the years, platforms like GeM and various state tender portals have done a good job in digitising tender publication. However, what happened in parallel was the rise of intermediary platforms that simply aggregated public tenders and sold access to them.
We experienced this personally. We paid around twenty five thousand rupees annually to a tender alert service. Despite that cost, we could not apply to even ten meaningful tenders in a year. That was when it became clear that searching tenders was not the real problem. Understanding them and acting on them was the real challenge.
Interviewer: This brings us to your first unique feature. How is Minaions different when it comes to searching tenders?
Vivek Mittal:The biggest difference is that Minaions does not charge anything for tender discovery. We believe publicly available tender information should remain accessible to everyone. Charging MSMEs twelve to twenty five thousand rupees just to forward notifications is not fair in today’s digital world.
Minaions aggregates tenders from central government portals, state portals, PSU portals and other official sources. Businesses simply enter their domain keywords, products, or services. Our AI filters tenders intelligently and sends only relevant alerts through email and WhatsApp. There is no learning curve. No technical expertise is required.
Today, more than five hundred companies are using Minaions for tender discovery, completely free of cost. For many of them, this itself has already improved their confidence in exploring government opportunities.
Interviewer:That sounds impactful. How has this changed the behaviour of MSMEs?
Vivek Mittal: Earlier, MSMEs depended heavily on learning to use the tendering information portals. Now they feel empowered. They receive clean and relevant tender information daily. More importantly, they are not under pressure to justify a yearly subscription cost. They can explore freely and decide when to act. This shift alone has started democratising access to public procurement.
Interviewer: Let us talk about pricing, which is often a sensitive topic for MSMEs. What makes Minaions pricing unique?
Vivek Mittal: From day one, we knew pricing would decide whether Minaions truly serves MSMEs or not. Many platforms force businesses into rigid annual plans. We consciously avoided that.
With Minaions, anyone can start without paying anything. Tender alerts are always free. We also provide up to ten free bid analyses every month. Charges apply only when a business wants Minaions to prepare bid documents using AI.
Instead of packages, we use a simple credit based model. Businesses buy automation credits only when needed. Some start with just one tender automation. Some scale up to hundreds. As volume increases, per tender automation cost reduces. Today, it ranges from seven hundred to fifteen hundred rupees per tender automation.
Interviewer: That is quite different from what is available in the market.
Vivek Mittal: Yes, and to our knowledge, no other platform in India offers this flexibility. This model respects the cash flow realities of MSMEs. You pay only when you extract value.
We also run periodic offers. Right now, as part of our New Year celebration, we are offering a 30% discount across all our plans. Businesses can use the Minaions Discount Coupon: CELEBNY30MIN to start their AI powered tender journey at a much lower cost. This particular coupon would remain active till January 31st, 2026 and I am sure MSMEs would be able to get the best benefit of the same.
Interviewer:How does this pricing approach impact adoption?
Vivek Mittal: It removes fear. Businesses do not feel locked in. They experiment, learn, and then scale. This leads to long term trust. Many of our users came in only for free tender alerts and gradually started using bid automation once they understood the value.
Interviewer:Where do you see Minaions going in the next few years?
Vivek Mittal: Our vision is to become the operating system for government tendering. Not just in India, but in other public procurement heavy economies as well. We want MSMEs to feel that tendering is no longer a specialist skill. With AI, it becomes a structured and guided process.
We are continuously improving eligibility analysis, risk detection, and document automation. But our core principles will not change. Keep discovery free. Keep pricing fair. Keep technology accessible.
Interviewer: Any final message for MSMEs reading this?
Vivek Mittal: Government tenders are not just for large enterprises. They are meant for MSMEs too. Technology has finally reached a point where complexity can be removed. Minaions exists to make that happen.
I would encourage businesses to visit https://minaions.com, explore the platform, and start without hesitation. And if pricing is still a concern, Google for the Minaions Discount Coupon. We genuinely want more Indian businesses to succeed in public procurement.
Interviewer: Thank you, Mr Vivek, for sharing these insights.
Vivek Mittal: Thank you. It was a pleasure.
